Adjustable Rebar Coupler

Adjustable Rebar Coupler

Adjustable Rebar Coupler is a versatile connecting component with adjustable length or position, widely used in construction, machinery and assembly. When the bars cannot be brought butt to butt (as it happens often in cages manufacturing),
Caging splices are the answer. Both bars are threaded with a standard thread, and a “Caging Assembly Set” is used to connect them. This set is constituted of 3 pieces preassembled together: a caging stud, a long bridging coupler and a lock-nut. The end of the caging stud bears a female thread that fits on one bar (Preferably the top bar in case of vertical cages). To connect the two bars, the bridging coupler is unscrewed from its stud and is screwed onto the second bar. Gaps between the two bar ends can be bridged by this system. If one of the bars is concreted beforeassembly of the reinforcement, its thread must be protected by a pocket former. When the bars cannot be brought butt to butt (as it happens often in cages manufacturing), Caging splices are the answer. Product Description

Advantage:
1.Flexible adjustment for length, position and installation tolerance.
2.Wide adaptability to different working conditions and structures.
3.Stable connection, high strength and reliable performance.
4.Easy to install and adjust, improving construction efficiency.
5.Cost-effective, reduces the need for multiple fixed-size components.

Application Scenarios and Positions

1. PC structures, installation of prefabricated columns, walls and beams, eliminating prefabrication errors and on-site installation deviations.
2. Reinforcing bars fixed at both ends and unable to rotate, such as through-length bars of beams, beam-column joints, and closed frames.
3. Remedies for insufficient or excessive reinforcing bar lengths due to construction errors or incorrect cutting, adjusted directly on-site.
4. Parts requiring precise positioning and controllable lengths in bridges, cap beams, pier columns, and municipal projects.
Reinforcement, renovation, and extension of reinforcing bars in old buildings.
