About Us
Hexagonal Rebar coupler
Advantages:
1. The wrench can be firmly clamped and won't slip. The flat surface of the hexagon makes it stable when used with an open-end wrench or a torque wrench, unlike the round socket which is prone to slipping.
2. Torque is easier to apply accurately. The flat contact surface ensures precise torque control, guaranteeing the quality of the joint tightening and making it easier to pass the inspection.
3. Faster construction and labor-saving. Workers don't need to repeatedly find the right position; a simple clamp and turn is all it takes, making it especially suitable for tight schedules.
4. The quality is as high as that of round sockets. The internal thread, tensile strength, and seismic performance are completely equivalent to standard round sockets.
5. It can be made into various functions. The hexagonal shape allows for the production of regular, reducer, and double-ended thread types, offering strong versatility.
Application Scenarios and Positions
1. The parts that need to be strictly tightened with a torque wrench include frame beams, main bars of columns, first-level joints, and key seismic nodes.
2. In areas with dense reinforcement and limited operating space, such as the core areas of beams and columns, hidden columns, and coupling beams, hexagonal wrenches are the most practical when the torque wrench cannot apply force effectively.
3. For large-diameter reinforcement that requires a high tightening force, hexagonal wrenches do not slip and are safer.
