Epoxy Coupler

Epoxy Coupler

Epoxy coupler are specialized sleeves designed for connecting epoxy-coated reinforcing bars. Their surfaces have undergone anti-corrosion and insulation treatment, and they are mainly used in high-corrosion and high-durability projects.

Product Description

Advantages:

  1. They have extremely strong anti-corrosion capabilities and a long service life. The surface is insulated, rust-proof, and resistant to chloride ion corrosion, making them many times more durable than ordinary scoupler. They are suitable for coastal areas, saline-alkali land, and chemical environments.
  2. They do not damage the epoxy coating of the reinforcing bars. During connection, they specifically protect the original anti-corrosion layer of the reinforcing bars, without causing any damage or peeling off the coating, ensuring the overall anti-corrosion effect.
  3. They meet strength standards and satisfy the force requirements. The joint performance is the same as that of ordinary straight rolling threaded coupler, and they comply with the standards for tensile strength, seismic resistance, and anti-slip resistance.

Application Scenarios and Positions

1.Coastal and cross-sea projects (most commonly used)
Cross-sea bridges, coastal piers, breakwaters
The sea breeze and the high chloride ion content in seawater cause ordinary steel bars to rust very easily.
2. Engineering in Saline-Alkaline and Salt Lake Areas
Bridges, roads, and factory foundations in saline-alkali regions
High soil salt content, severe corrosion
3. Ports, wharves and docks
Have been subject to long-term erosion by seawater and salt spray
4. Major projects with high durability requirements
High-speed railways, subways, tunnels, large bridges
Structures with a design service life of 100 years
5. Underwater Structures
